Item-Name:

PVC washers

More-Details:

Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) is a common synthetic plastic widely used in various fields. It is formed by polymerizing vinyl chloride monomers and possesses the following characteristics:

It exhibits good durability, impact resistance, corrosion resistance, non-toxicity, and is easily moldable. Moreover, it is a relatively inexpensive and economically viable choice.

One concern, however, is that when subjected to combustion, PVC may release harmful hydrogen chloride gas and other toxic substances. In terms of temperature tolerance, PVC typically has a melting point between 60 to 100 degrees Celsius. When exposed to temperatures above this range, PVC softens and deforms.

Considering the temperature limitations, it is not recommended to proceed with painting and baking processes after assembling PVC components with screws. If further painting is required, it is advised to use items made from EPDM material.
